The "Keble-Chat"
One of the most prolific writers on maritime themes, Edward Keble Chatterton (1878–1944) issued around one hundred books, pamphlets and magazine series. He was rather short and portly, and occasionally the subject of gentle humour in cartoon form.
Chatterton, as a Lieutenant-Commander in the RNVR held the command of the Queenstown ML flotilla during the latter part of the war, commanding ML 181.
Gary Acheson has compile (and collected) a list of all Chatterton wrote.
